Mark White, president of D.W. White Construction Inc., of Acushnet, has been elected chairman of the board of directors of Construction Industries of Massachusetts, the trade association that represents the transportation construction industry in Massachusetts. He will serve as chairman for one year.
In addition to the new chairman, other new CIM Board officers elected are: Vincent Barletta, president of Barletta Engineering Corp. of Canton, elected vice chairman; Jim Reger, president of P.J. Keating Co. of Lunenburg, elected treasurer; and Jeff Wales, sales manager of Milton CAT of Milford, elected secretary.
Five new board members were also elected from the CIM membership: David Costantino, COSCO Fence Inc.; Joel Lewin, Hinckley Allen & Snyder LLP; Robert Mabardy, The Middlesex Cos.; Ryan McCourt, McCourt Construction Co.; and George Powers, MF&T Insurance Agency.
Founded in 1921, Construction Industries of Massachusetts is an association that represents all aspects of the transportation and public works construction industry in Massachusetts. Members are general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, equipment dealers, engineers, consultants, insurance and bonding companies, law and accounting firms and other companies interested in furthering the progress of the industry.
