Richard McCourt, President and CEO

McCourt Construction entered its fourth generation in the early 1960s when Richard began working as a laborer for the company during summer breaks from Matignon High School. Rich worked in a variety of field construction roles until graduating from Boston College in 1968 at which time he joined the company full-time as a project manager.
As President and CEO, Richard has driven the strategic growth of the company. He is active in industry and trade organization including past stints as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Constructing Industries of Massachusetts, and Management Trustee of the Laborers Health & Welfare Fund of New England. Richard received an MBA from Babson College in 1974.
Steve Frick COO, and Vice President, Construction

As Chief Operating Officer, Steve is responsible for the management and direction of all major projects undertaken by McCourt from contract execution to substantial completion. Steve joined the company as a Superintendent and later served as a Project Manager on dozens of large projects throughout New England. Steve has a civil engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has received numerous industry certifications and licenses.
Jack Murphy Vice President, Engineering & Estimating
Full-time with McCourt since 1993

Jack oversees the Estimating Group, and in this role is responsible for all subcontractor and material procurement, as well as project scheduling. In addition, Jack directly oversees some of McCourt’s more complicated projects, particularly airport work. Prior to joining McCourt, Jack served as the Chief Estimator at Reynolds Brothers Company. Jack has a B.S. in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts and served as an Infantry Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1970-1973.
